G.D. Guitars “Blue Streak” Custom “Super P” Bass — Metallic Blue & Red w Case

This one-off G.D. Guitars build is a high-performance nod to a little blue guy that’s gotta go fast. Built for players who value both tone and style, this bass blends vintage feel with modern craftsmanship in every detail.

The body is solid swamp ash, sandblasted for rich texture and finished in a striking metallic blue that shimmers under the light. The neck is maple with a rosewood fretboard, featuring rounded fretboard edges and hand-rounded fret ends for the ultimate in comfort and playability. It’s dialed in to play super low and feels effortless in the hands.

Electronics feature a custom-wound set of G.D. Pickups P-style pickups set at 12.5k output with Alnico V magnets. These are non–wax potted for that open, dynamic vintage-style response with extra punch and character.

Hardware appointments complete the look —   brass saddles, brass appointments on tuning machines, and a metallic red headstock for a splash of attitude. Strung up with a fresh set of Elixir 45–105 strings, this bass is ready to hit the stage or studio right out of the case.

The included matching blue hard case nearly mirrors the body’s finish — a perfect complement to this fast, flashy one-off.
